About savings circles

What is a savings circle?

A savings circle is a trusted group that saves together on a schedule—often with a shared payout order so each member receives a turn. AjoPak is built to help your group stay organized: who's in the circle, what's due, and what's already happened—without replacing the relationships and rules you already rely on.

How many people can be in a savings circle?

Circle size depends on what your group agrees on—there's no universal rule. Smaller circles (4–10 people) tend to complete faster and are easier to coordinate. Larger ones can work well too, especially in organized associations with clear rules. AjoPak is designed to work at both scales.

Can I be in more than one circle at the same time?

Yes. Some members run or participate in multiple circles—for different groups, goals, or timelines. Each circle operates independently with its own members, schedule, and payout order.

What happens when a circle completes?

When every member has received their payout turn, the circle is considered complete. Your group can choose to start a new cycle with a fresh circle, adjust the terms, or wrap up entirely. The history stays visible so you have a record of the completed cycle.

Using AjoPak

How do payouts work?

Payout order and timing depend on the rules your group agrees on. AjoPak helps you track contributions and communicate what's next, but it doesn't guarantee settlement speed or outcomes—that still follows your group's plan and how members pay.

Can I change the payout order after a circle starts?

Changes to the payout order after a circle begins affect the expectations of every member—so this is a group decision, not something one person controls. AjoPak reflects what your group agrees on. If your group decides to adjust the order, that should be communicated clearly to all members.

What if I need to leave a circle?

Leaving mid-circle affects the rest of the group, so this is something to discuss openly with your members first. AjoPak doesn't automate exits or enforce penalties—your group's agreed rules apply. If you need to step away, we'd recommend talking to your group organizer as early as possible.

Is there a mobile app?

We're working on it. If you'd like to be notified when the app is available on iOS or Android, reach out through the Contact page and we'll keep you posted.

Is AjoPak available in my country?

We're growing thoughtfully and may expand availability over time. If you're unsure, reach out and tell us where you are—we'd love to hear from you.

How do I get help?

Use the email on our Contact page. We read what you send—response times may vary while we're small.

Money & trust

Does AjoPak hold my money?

AjoPak is primarily a coordination and visibility tool for groups. How funds move between members depends on the arrangements your group uses in practice. If your product includes regulated custody or partners, update this answer to match the facts.

What if someone misses a contribution?

Your group's rules come first. The app can surface status and history so you can discuss next steps together. AjoPak doesn't provide legal or financial advice about how to resolve disputes.

Why is identity verification sometimes required?

Some groups want confidence about who is joining the circle. Verification steps can help members recognize who they're saving with. The exact requirements depend on your group's settings and your organization's policies.

Who can see payment information?

Information is meant to be visible to people in your group so everyone can stay aligned—not public on the open web. For specifics about data use and retention, you'll publish a full Privacy Policy when it's ready.

How do I know my information is safe?

We take data seriously. Information shared within a circle is meant for your group—not for advertising, not for sale. For full details on what we collect, how we store it, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
